Detail: It's a FREE 5-program series open to everyone.
Matt Fox, the host of the first and longest-running HGTV program,
"Room by Room," will be one of the presenters. Presented as a public service by the
501(C)3 Senior Independent Living at The Alcazar, the gracious 1923 landmark
in the Cedar-Fairmount neighborhood - right at the top of Cedar Hill. Starts Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 7pm and runs
for 4 more non-consecutive Tuesday evenings through Nov. 10th.
The series kicks off with
"Downsizing/Decluttering"
follwed by "Staging your Home," "Marketing Your Home for a Quick and
Profitable Sale," "Legal
Tips for Seniors," "Smaller is Smarter," and "Community
Resources for Independent Seniors."
The series is a community-wide pro bono educational effort. Everyone - presenters, The Alcazar, the
caterer, the food supplier - are donating their time, expertise and
supplies! Oh, yes - there's a
